IREC Fitness Center

Isle is located on the SE corner of Mille Lacs Lake. There is an active group of players that come from as far away as Aitkin (40 miles). The players vary in ability but gain experience with every hit, game, win and loss. Play has been mostly outside during the summer. We went from four courts to six courts outside, on the tennis courts by the high school, in June of 2021. While the regular schedule is from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays some people do arrive to play by 8:00 AM. There is also an IREC Pickleball Facebook page and members leave messages the arrange other times, days and places to play. Since there have been six courts outside all six courts have been filled most of the time with about half a dozen people waiting. Wait times are short. This is an approved place to play for Silver Sneakers. There are three courts inside during the winter.
