About the Event

The WPA Los Angeles Championships offer Singles, Gender Doubles and Mixed Doubles events from Friday July 10 for Masters and senior gender doubles events from 11am and Saturday July 11 for open Gender doubles from 10am and prizemoney events , skinny singles and beginning tournament players switching partner events from 2pm ,Mixed doubles sunday morning July 12 from11am and all singles events sunday afternoon July 12 from 2pm There are no regstration fees only per event fees at a very reasonable rate of only $75 for your first event , discounted to $65 for your 2nd event , $55 for yor 3rd event and a $5 one off software fee. Please read this infomation thoroughly before emailing any questions. This is a USA Pickleball sanctioned tournament for beginning tournament to advanced players and an opportunty to receive or improve your international DUPR rating. Plus an opportunity to gain points to assist your chance to qualify for the USA Pickleball Nationals in San Diego first week of November. If you do not have a DUPR rating go to www.mydupr.com and join for FREE ( dont go to paid subscription) and estimate your DUPR rating is asked . You don't need an official DUPR rating to play you will receive a DUPR rating after completion of your events A USA Pickleball membership is required and there are many benefits to this including an opportunity to play in The USAP National championships ,personal injury insurance , 3 FREE Franklin x40 Balls ( same ball as used in all USA Pickleball tournaments) discount magazine subscription and many other discounts and benefits. Once you have a DUPR account and USA Pickleball membership download the Pickleball Manager APP to your phone where you can enter this tournament through the Pickleball Manager APP or visit www.worldpickleballtournaments.com where all of World pickleball Association tournaments and Leagues are available. Enter as an individual with your partner registering and claiming each other as a partner and for player requesting a partner enter and we will endevour to assist you find a partner . if we cannot find you a partner you will receive a full refund. • Gold Medalists receive a WPA John Gill signature Paika Paddle (minimum of 4 pairs/players required for free paddle if not 60% off a Paika carbon paddle) if 8 teams are divided into division 1 and 2 finals only Gold in Div 1 will receive a free paddle however Div 2 still receive a 60% discount. • Silver and Bronze mediailsts receive a - 50% discount on paddles and gear at www.paikasports.com ------------ The WPA USA PIckleball Los Angeles Open is held between Friday July 10 and Sunday July 12 2026 at PIckle Alley 350 S Anderson st Los Angeles CA 90033 Friday July 11:am :- Masters 50+ Seniors 65+ for Women's & Men's Doubles Events Saturday July 11 : 11am - Open Women's & Men's Doubles Events (Round Robin will be split to correct DUPR Levels for every 8 Pairs) Sunday July 12: 11am am -open Mixed Doubles Events (Round Robin will be split to correct DUPR Levels for every 8 Pairs) Sunday July 12: :2.00 pm - Open Women's & Men's Singles Events (Double Elimination as Best of 3 Games to 11 win by 2) Sunday July 12th 2.pm - Masters 50+ Seniors 65+ for Women's & Men's Singles Events (Double Elimination¹; Best of 3 Games to 11 win by 2) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ All Events are normal Side-Out Scoring win by 2 All Events are Round Robin for a maximum of 8 pairs/players for singles (divided as DUPR 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; and Open Divisions) per 4 courts to insure minimal waiting time. Each Level is then split into Medal events 1 vs 2 for Gold and 3 vs 4 for Bronze medals. Allow up to 4 hours to complete your Event, inclusive of the Finals. All entrants receive a 20% discount on all products at www.paikasports.com with the Discount Code WPA20 applied at Checkout. Medalists receive the following Prizes • Gold Medalists receive a - WPA Carbon Fiber Paddle • Silver and Bronze medailsts receive a 50% discount on all paddles and products on www.paikasports.com ------------ REFUND POLICY Credit to another WPA Tournament (www.worldpickleballtournaments.com) or a $ refund is available due to your event cancelled due to lack of numbers and we can't offer you another event. There are no refunds due to change of location or daily times you must allow a full day when you play tournaments however credit to another WPA tournament is allowed. Any $ Refunds for sickness or injury are available with a Doctors certificate . To redeem please call/text John Gill on 657 695 6838.
